The big game is today. BYU vs US...Poo in basketball.
We've made a little wager... Who ever loses has to wear the winning team's logo on their underwear.
Once, a stranger asked me, "David, why do you persecute USU so?" Because they steal my woman! They can make as much cheese as they'd like, live as far away as they'd like, and lose as many football games as they like, but give me back my Syd.

I promised David I wouldn't change this post... But commenting was never meantioned! I'd just like you all to know a couple facts to prep you for the game tonight:
ReplyDelete-Under Stew Morrill's near 12-year riegn, (he's the head coach) Utah State has only seen 12 losses in the Spectrum (that's our bb stadium).
-The most recient loss was to Fresno State in 2007, and since then the Aggies have accumulated 35 straight home wins. That's the second longest home winning streak in the nation (behind Kansas with 36 games).
-USU students started camping out yesterday just before noon to get good seats; doors open at 6 tonight and tip off is at 7:05.
-BYU's head coach, Dave Rose, has outright refused to play here in Logan since *2005* due to our well known crowds and BYU's vision of being a superior school to USU. Last year the game was in SLC to provide a 'nutural court' for both teams. But late that night a fellow USU student died after driving home from the game. It was a hard hit to the student population. Finally, BYU has the courage to come up here this year.
-Although BYU squeaked out a win against USU last year, we still hold a 4-2 winning record in the last six games.
To say the least, I'm a little bit excited for this game! Basketball games are the highlight of Aggie life, and although I'm only an Aggie for less than 2 more weeks, I plan on living it up!!
